Whats the Difference Between Home Staging and Home Styling?
As the name implies, the term home staging focuses primarily on the use of props to try to help sell a home, much as props are used to set the stage for a play. This is quite different from home styling, an interior design service we offer as well.
Home styling encompasses everything involved in home staging, but so much more. As home stylists, we appoint homes with furnishings and decorative accessories, but we have the skills and experience to make recommendations on redesign or improvements to the home. If you’re selling your home, this can really update and upgrade the overall look of the home to make it more appealing to buyers and help you get more money. But we also work with clients who want to turn the home they have into the home they love – through our interior design service we make that happen.
This includes details such as making recommendations on paint colors, flooring and lighting to modernize and freshen the look. It may involve selecting furniture and accessories that will bring the space to life.
Not only can we make those recommendations, we can also arrange to have the work done, and handle the project management (manage the entire process so everything is handled for you and you don’t have to lift a finger or even think about it).
