Sold in 1 Day, $30,000 Over Ask With Multiple Offers

June 2020After we staged and styled this 1940’s St.Boniface home, it sold in ONE day for $30,000 over asking price, with multiple offers. The home needed updating but it wasn’t an option for the seller, so the agent advised the seller to remove all contents of the home and have us come in to do a full stage. We did strongly recommend a couple minor deviations from the “no renovations” rule – a new dining room chandelier to add “wow factor”, and removal of some very dated, dark wallpaper in the family room, both of which the owner agreed to. After all of our work was done and the house was fully staged, both the agent and the homeowner were WOWED by the complete transformation throughout the home. It was dramatically modernized through the staging alone. In fact, the seller was literally moved to tears when she saw her home after staging – just like on HGTV :), saying she never realized her home could be so beautiful. She was elated when the home sold in one day for $30,000 above list price… She was so thrilled with how we transformed the home she was selling that she is now having us design, renovate, decorate and furnish the home is she moving to. (Fun Fact!  Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson was a overnight guest in this home several times while in office!) It was such a privilege to stage this history-rich home for this incredibly lovely client. You can see the entire home in our portfolio.
