Sold in Under 30 Days – at the Worst Time of Year

Sold in Under 30 Days for list price during the 2018/2019 Holiday Season.

2018/19 Holiday Season –  This 1920’s West End storey-and-a-half was a flip project by one of our many investor clients. Priced at $300,000, it was a high price tag for a home in its location. What made it most challenging was that the house was going on the market literally the week before Christmas – the worst time of year to try to sell a house with everyone preoccupied with the holiday season, followed by the post-Christmas “doldrums” in January.  As always, we were up for the challenge! We staged every room of this house to feel warm, welcoming, and inviting to help buyers envision an appealing lifestyle in the home..  This resulted in really enticing listing photos which drew buyers in for viewings, despite the frigid weather.  Our client was thrilled when the house sold in under 3 weeks, at the worst possible time of year. He credited the staging for getting the home sold faster than he thought would possible.
